We at droppingjaws.com are not in the business of challenging fortune 500 companies or small business on their ethics and morals. We at droppingjaws.com are in the business of critiquing the marketing and advertising campaigns used to influence  the public. With that being stated the logo above  has left us at droppingjaws.com with plenty of questions. Consumers may or may not have been exposed to magic eye images, which is a book series made popular in the early to mid 90’s using random dot autostereogram which allow people to see 3D images by focusing on 2D patterns. The viewer must diverge his or her eyes in order to see a hidden three-dimensional image within the pattern. Enough about that ,the issue at hand is due to our current economic  situation of wall street marauders running amuck like they did in the early 80’s. Anybody else see the resemblance between Gordan Gecko and Bernie Madoff ? We at droppingjaws.com make this statement to not to insult his victims but to give credit to common sense knowing that common sense isn’t common. Madoff sounds a lot like “Made Off” so if a person has a knack for making the money and his name is Madoff (Made Off) we might have some thoughts of hesitance about him cause droppingjaws.com would think “Made Off with my money” droppingjaws.com says this to provide grounds for this observation ING.inc is a credible financial institution and by no mean is droppingjaws.com implicating any proof of foul play. From an advertising and marketing viewpoint having a ING in front of a lion can be read as ING-Lion. Once again no proof just a bunch of marketing, advertising, and public relation experts taking their craft too serious  ta da !!, you have droppingjaws.com. The magic eye reference above was used to personify if you look at something too long or not long enough you can imagine almost anything. With that being said ING in front of a lion lying down can be seen as a “LyING” or “ING-lyin”. A financial institution being linked to lying can cause a public relations nightmare for the board of directors. Again no foul play but in  regards to advertisement this logo can be misinterpreted by a skeptical public that has been burned by the financial sector, if any of ING.Inc financial competitors wanted to go head to head for market shares, probably could put together a campaign that could discredit and cause many ING. inc customers to worry.
